Hyannis, MA, December 11, 2023 – Savant Systems, Inc., a global industry leader in smart home and smart power announced today that it has completed a transaction to acquire assets from J Geiger Shading, a recognized window treatment market leader that designs and delivers architecturally conscious shading.  Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Over the last six years the teams at Savant and J Geiger have formed a close partnership, bringing a new category of exposed rollershades to market through the custom integration channel as well as launching new category defining products, such as quick-install Inception shades. J Geiger’s design approach and craftsmanship aligns perfectly with Savant's ability to deliver the best possible smart home experience, which includes the Savant app’s award-winning Daylight Mode, designed to seamlessly blend natural and artificial lighting.  

In addition to rounding out its lighting portfolio, J Geiger shades bolster Savant’s portfolio of energy and climate solutions that can help existing and future homes become more energy efficient. The ability to control heat with proper shading plays a significant part in reducing energy use, particularly in warmer geographies around the globe. 

All Savant Authorized Integrators will continue to have access to J Geiger shades, with a growing portfolio of motors, Inception Shade options and more to be announced this quarter. All current J Geiger customers will also continue to have access, receiving the same level of excellent sales and support they have come to expect.
